Punta Perla
Punta Perla Caribbean Golf, Marina and Spa Resort will be a new luxury residential community and tourist destination located in Cabeza de Toro area of the well-known Punta Cana region and approximately 15 minutes from the Punta Cana International Airport.
European Golf Design has been appointed in association with Colin Montgomerie to design the first 18 hole signature golf course at Punta Perla. Laid out amongst choice residential properties and surrounded by lush and beautiful Caribbean scenery, this course will be one of the highlights of the recreational and sports facilities at Punta Perla.
Colin Montgomerie said “I am thrilled to be so closely involved in the design of the first golf course at Punta Perla.
“I select the locations for golf courses which carry my name very carefully indeed, but Punta Perla was an easy choice. This is a stunningly beautiful corner of the Caribbean.
“The world-class golf course we are planning will be magnificent - not only for players; it will also provide a wonderful green outlook for the people who buy the homes which overlook it.”
Rublevka
Colin Montgomerie Design have been appointed to design a new course in Russia, Rublevka. The site situated outside of Moscow will be an 18 hole.
Masterplanning is underway on the project and EGD are working alongside WATG and ERA.
The Dutch
Colin Montgomerie Design have been appointed to design a new inviting and challenging 18 hole course with practice facility in Spijk, Netherlands. The course will have an island links feel incorporating substantial local greenery. Water features in the style of dune ponds with substantial amounts of greenery will form an integral part of the course.
The layout has been agreed and design work is underway.
Palm City
Colin Montgomerie has been signed up to design an 18 hole golf course in Denmark for Palm City
Holdings. The Montgomerie at Palm City Family & Golf Resort, is located in the north west of Denmark, in the town of Frederikshavn.
