Hi Colin,
I have been meaning to drop you a line to thank you for the opportunity to caddy for you at the Skins Game in Vernon, B.C. a few weeks back. You are an excellent statesman for the game of golf that made me feel more than welcome for the two days. It was truly an experience of a lifetime that was well worth the donation to B.C.'s Children's Hospital; in fact I'm looking forward to your next visit so I can bid again. As I said to you on the course, it is refreshing to see how genuine a person you really are and how readily you make yourself available to the fans. It truly is a "breath of fresh air" in this age of "professionalism". Great job at the French Open. Unfortunately we don't get any coverage on this side of the "pond" so I got the news late. Makes a big difference with your own clubs, I'm sure! Anyway, thanks again and good luck at the Open. I'll be following your successes.
Cheers,
Derek Chichak

Good to see you playing well again. Will be there on Friday at the London Club and have had a cheeky bet on you for the European Open and a few match markets.
Also very impressed reading the stuff you do with kids and the requests you make for feedback on various subjecs on your site.
Keep Pulling Monty, you have a lot of fans.

Dear Monty (if i may call you that way),
What a game... I've really enjoyed following you around this French Open (practise and course).
My skin bruned under the sun, but my eyes glittered whatching you.
You've hit great shots, putted well, made wise decisions, and kept focus 'till the end (which, with all this French noisy crowd...): well, What I call a " Pro Pro".
To me, It is a beautiful 2nd place (if 2nd can be), with a strong and amazing finish.
Thank you very much, I hope you'll come back next year.
I certainly will (i leave across the street!).
Take care

Congratulations on your podium finish at the French Open. Great to see the putts dropping again and here's hoping for a super July to push you back where you belong - on top of the OOM and in the Ryder Cup team.
