Hi Colin, maybe uou remember to Vienna 2006 for the US Open, I said to You: show the golf-world Your golf and win and You was runner up. Please, don't think about Ryder Cup, world ranking and order of merit, play Your golf and You win and be back. I and all Your fans put faith in You and You will go fast to this bad time. But don't think what You must play, play Your golf; You are one of the best. Good luck and the best whises to You and Your nice wife, Georg.

Dear Monty,
My brother has just recently returned from a golf trip to Florida and he called me to tell me that he bumped into you in a golf shop. I went nuts when he told me this as I am an avid fan (have been for years) and he didn't even think to get a photo of you. No camera he said , what's wrong with your phone I said.
Any way not to worry as I may try to catch up with you again on the bonny banks of Loch Lomond.
Keep up the good work.
ps. if you don't qualify for the big one then I'm sure nick will give you a wild card anyway. he\'d be crazy not to.

Colin: I've just re-read The Real Monty (I bought it in 2003) and my regard for your honesty and no-nonsense approach to life and golf has been confirmed and refreshed. I'm delighted to hear of your recent marriage and sincerely wish you and Gaynor a long and happy life together. And I am looking forward to watching your contribution to the retention of the Ryder Cup!

Colin,
From one part-Scotsman to you. I believe Jack's tournament will be the one. Your game from tee to fairway is the best and that's what it takes at Muirfield. Play freely and shot by shot!!!
All the best and I will celebrate your play on Sunday.
Richard Laurie, an older duffer but avid player!

Colin, Just want to say that despite other golfers who seem to always get credit for their performances no matter how indifferent, it appears that the media are over critical off you. You are the best British Golfer over the past 10 years without question. A lot is made of the Major missing from your career however no other British golfer has come close to your success and put themselves in the position to win on such a regular basis in majors. Believe in yourself again and it will happen.

Dear Colin,
Long time fan and a message of support hoping you make the Ryder Cup. We'll be a far stronger team with you there, so all the best in the coming months.
In addition, having read that you are interested in music, if you have heard of (or have an interest in Glasgow Band " The Blue Nile"), I am part of that band. We are doing 3 shows at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, July 9, 10, 11. I guess it's around the time of the Barclay's Scottish Open, so if you were around and would like to go, I could organise tickets.
Otherwise, hope you have a great season and I'll be rooting for you as always.
Cheers,
Gordon Wilson

Dear Mr Monty. My name is Euan i'm 8 years old and I am a member of Erskine Golf Club. I get lessons from Leslie Mackay at World of Golf Glasgow. I have completed my mg silver with distinction and compete in both YMG at deer park and Wee Wonders Championships. I have followed you round at the open last year on the first day. I followed you with my mummy last year at Loch Lomond with Ian Poulter. I also followed you at Glen Eagles. I'm desperate for your autograph as I seem to get shoved out the way by the bigger boys. I will be at Loch Lomond again on Wednesday and Thursday. look out for me as i'm small. your the best from Euan.

Colin, just been watching golf night and am amazed how you played the 1st round at the IRISH OPEN, then flew to London for a charity event which you are deeply involved with, then went back ready for round 2,
all the best with the fund raising, I know how hard it is as we hold 2 charity golf days every year for kiddies with cancer in the Warwickshire area, we have raised nearly £20k in the past 2 years, so really appreciate the amount you are aiming to achieve, We have had excellent support form Deborah Howard who works along side Darren Clarke and many other Euro pro golfers with signed memorabilia for our charity auctions, as we raised over £2000 for Darren Clarkes Breast Cancer Charity's.
All the best and hope you maintain your spot in the RYDER CUP, If you fancy joining us for our next event it is in Warwickshire on Oct 9th (it would never happen but hey you dont ask you never get!!!!!!!!) Regards Craig.

Hi Gaynor & Colin, I just wanted to say that my visit to the Irish Open was absolutely fantastic and made more memorable by the fantastic walk and chat I had with Gaynor whilst following Colin around on the Saturday. She was an absolute pleasure to speak to and I hope they had a nice meal at the Dunraven Arms.
Good Luck to you both
All the best Niel
