Monty took time out of his busy schedule to make a construction visit to Riifa Views, Bahrain. During the visit Colin played four holes, 4,5,6 and 7. The 4th hole is one of the toughest holes on the course, it is a 486yard par 4 but plays longer into the prevailing wind. Monty hit a driver onto the fairway then a brilliant 3 wood onto the green only to miss the birdie putt. Monty walked the back nine and talked with his Architect Robin Hiseman about the overall construction of the course.

During the visit Monty talked with Richard Browning, CEO of Riffa Golf and Residential Development Company about how pleased he was with the construction progress and how the course was turning into something very special. The Royal Golf Club at Riffa Views is scheduled to open in November.

Colin was accompanied on the trip by Gaynor and her son and before travelling back they all spent an enjoyable day at the Bahrain Grand Prix.
