World renowned golfing legend Colin Montgomerie, has married his partner of over two years Gaynor Knowles, at a lavish wedding ceremony held at Loch Lomond in Scotland today (Saturday 19 April).

The happy couple tied the knot in front of family and over 300 guests following two days of celebrations which even involved a private golf tournament on the Saturday morning.

The happy couple were surrounded by their seven children from their previous marriages for the civil ceremony.

Colin and Gaynor were first introduced to one another by Scottish TV Commentator Dougie Donnelly in 2005 at Gleneagles' Strathearn restaurant. It was at this same restaurant in August 2007 that Colin proposed to Gaynor.

Mr. and Mrs. Montgomerie later left for their honeymoon in Venice.
