Hi Colin
It's so easy to make judgements in hindsight. Obviously your ryder cup record is exemplary. I guess not far off, if not, the most exceptional player on behalf of Europe. I do truly hope that the next couple of years serve you well in both enjoyment and reward. If nothing else, please remember how to enjoy your golf. I'm not particularly old, however, it's an absolute pleasure for me to see you when you're playing well. All the best, James

I am sorry that you have seen fit to criticize Nick Faldo's captaincy of our Ryder Cup team in public.
It looks like sour grapes, and is not helpful to anyone.
Faldo, like him or not, is far and away the greatest golfer this country has ever produced.
We can't win every time, regardless of tactics; the americans were the better team on the day.

I was so sorry not to see your inspirational presence at the Ryder Cup but I am sure the result has made you more determined than ever to qualify by right in 2010 and silence those who say you are "past it"! You have many years of quality golf left. Keep at it. PS I hope the shoulder is better.

We are loving the Ryder Cup but it's just not the same without you. Hope to see you at the Dunhill in a couple of weeks??

Hi Colin! Wish you were playing in the Ryder Cup! I feel sure your experience would have been priceless. Best wishes to you and yours. Ben Rhydding etc. seems light years ago! Douglas always said you'd be a pro golfer. How right he was. Cheers, Keith N.

Dear Colin, I know you would not like 2 say it but you must b like myself dissapointed that europe are going 2 surrender the ryder cup but do not have any sympayhy 4 Faldo. He needed experiance today and did not have any, faldo needed Mr Ryder Cup but he wouldnt pick Mr Ryder Cup because he dosent want you 2 overtake his points record. I do not care what form you are in you should have been there, europe would not av been deafeated if MR RYDER CUP was there!
