Q. What is your most memorable round of golf?
A. Again too many to remember – I really enjoy my job – however, my singles match at the 2004 Ryder Cup in the USA when I holed the winning putt is right up there!
Q. I am 13yrs old and have a handicap of 6, I want to turn pro, what advice can you offer?
A. Keep practising hard and enjoy it. You have a long way to go so it is important to get some qualifications behind you so that you have something to fall back on. It sounds like you are on course to do very well! I also think that the amateur circuit is fantastically well organised so try and enjoy all the opportunities available to you at the moment.
Q. What is your favourite car?
A. I am a car enthusiast and can’t choose between my Bentley and my Lexus.
Q. What is the best tournament you play in?
A. the Open Championship at St Andrews
Q. What is your favourite course?
A. I don’t have one favourite but these would be in my top five – Pine Valley (USA), Loch Lomond, Ailsa course at Turnberry.
