Colin has a new and unique method of approaching the game of golf. His Teaching Method aims to make a player think before he plays a shot, rather than after and looks at basic advice on teaching method, course management and equipment requirements for any quality of golfer. The method works for people of all types; for businessmen and women, young and old with a view to avoiding the unrealistic aim of totally revamping a swing but with the clear intention of making the game more enjoyable and making a player a more effective golfer.
Colin does not believe that one should fundamentally alter what comes naturally to a golfer. Colin’s teaching method seeks to find a way of effectively harnessing the latent potential of one’s natural swing as quickly and as effectively as possible by practising effectively and not practising one's faults.
As a basis for all teaching, Colin uses the PGA teaching manual. This manual has and will effectively teach any golfer, the mechanics of the golf swing and the game itself. Colin supplements and complements the PGA teaching manual by offering some specific drills and tips on the mechanics of the game and also offering his thoughts on specific areas such as psychology and course management. |
